Prolific Shoplifter Arrested

While on patrol this afternoon, officers identified a prolific shoplifter who is currently banned from entering the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. The officer swiftly detained and arrested the male, who was breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). 

The male has only recently been released from prison and is currently on bail for a number of shoplifting offences. While dealing with the suspect, the officers were able to identify and arrest him for a number of other offences that he is currently suspected of committing. 

The team are currently working on gathering the outstanding evidence for these offences and will be looking to get him charged while in custody.
